Predator consists of three interactive computer game installations that address critical and current issues in our western part of the world. Violence and sexual harassment are in focus. The common denominator for the games is animal and human actions where instincts are often followed. The actions usually go beyond innocent victims. The works can be presented separately or started from a common menu and displayed on projector or flat screen. The works are controlled with a hand control or keyboard (WASD) and mouse.
INCELS - THE INCEL SIMULATOR
"Incels" is about angry men who kill. The audience plays the role of an angry man in a casual city and gets to decide the fate of the inhabitants of the city. Incels are inspired by the shooters and the violence debate that came in the cool of the first 3D games in the 90s like Wolfenstein, Doom, GTA and Postal.
WOLF AND SHEEP
"Wolf and sheep" is about the perpetual wolf and sheep debate in Norway. Each year approximately 1500-1600 sheep in Norway are eaten by wolf. In the game, the audience can decide if they want to be a random sheep or the wolf that eat the most sheep. Music: The lost sheep (Johannes Bakken, 1938).
SEND A MESSAGE - AKA - WE WANT YOUR PUSSY!
In "Send a message", the audience should look for letters, learn the alphabet and then be able to send messages on the mobile. The art game is inspired by ABC games and is based on patronizing and threatening messages sent to famous people and politicians.
